INGREDIENTS
For the tikki:
- 4-5 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 2 tsp rajgira (amaranth) atta
- 1 tsp green chilies, chopped
- 2 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp jeera (cumin) powder
- 4-5 macadamia nuts, crushed
For the stuffing:
- 6-7 macadamia nuts, chopped
- 1 tsp raisins
- ¼ Cup paneer, shredded
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 2 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
For the chaat:
- ½ Cup sweetened curd
- 2 tsp green chutney
- 2 tsp imli chutney
For the garnish:
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Red chili powder
- Pomegranate
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, add boiled potatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin powder, rajgira atta, crushed macadamia nuts and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Prepare the filling by combining the shredded paneer, green chilies, coriander leaves, raisins and chopped macadamia nuts
- Stuff the potato mixture with the stuffing and shape into round tikkis
- Heat oil in a pan and fry till crisp and golden brown
- Plate and top with sweetened curd, green chutney, imli chutney, pomegranate, coriander leaves and red chili powder
