INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup Australian Macadamia Nuts 
  • ½ cup soft dates, pitted 
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder 
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) 
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract 
  • ¼ tsp salt 
  • 50 dark chocolate, melted 
  • Sea salt, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  • In a food processor, blend the Australian Macadamia Nuts until crumbly.  
  • Add dates, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until it forms a sticky dough. 
  • Divide the dough into small, bite-sized balls; you could place and press them in a mould or shape with your hands. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. 
  • Melt dark chocolate and dip each energy bite in to coat. You can choose to dip the entire bite, or just half of it.  
  • Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top before the chocolate sets. Refrigerate until firm. 
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
