INGREDIENTS
For Katli:
- 2 cups Australian macadamia nuts
- 2 tsp milk powder (optional)
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp desi ghee
For Garnishing:
- Chandi vark or silver leaf
- Rose petals
INSTRUCTIONS
- Grind Australian macadamia nuts into fine powder and sieve it
- Add sugar and water in a pan and bring it to boil
- Fold in powdered macadamias, milk powder (optional) and mix well.
- Add ghee and continue stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
- Transfer it to a bowl lined with parchment paper and knead well
- Roll it out to a ¼ inch thickness between two sheets of parchment paper
- Decorate with silver leaf and rose petals and cut diagonally into diamond shapes
