INGREDIENTS

For Katli:

  • 2 cups Australian macadamia nuts 
  • 2 tsp milk powder (optional) 
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • ½ cup water 
  • 1 tsp desi ghee 

 

For Garnishing:  

  • Chandi vark or silver leaf
  • Rose petals 
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Grind Australian macadamia nuts into fine powder and sieve it
  • Add sugar and water in a pan and bring it to boil
  • Fold in powdered macadamias, milk powder (optional) and mix well.
  • Add ghee and continue stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
  • Transfer it to a bowl lined with parchment paper and knead well
  • Roll it out to a ¼ inch thickness between two sheets of parchment paper
  • Decorate with silver leaf and rose petals and cut diagonally into diamond shapes
