Macadamias carrot halwa
Grated carrots and macadamias come together in a delightfully creamy mélange redolent with the nutty aroma of ghee and cardamom. A perfect twist to the traditional gajar halwa!

INGREDIENTS
- ½ kg Carrots, Grated
- ½ Cup Macadamia Nuts + 5-7 Nuts for garnishing
- 2 Cups Milk
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Ghee
- ½ Tsp. Cardamom Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Dry roast all the macadamias for 10 minutes and set aside 5-7 nuts for garnishing
- Chop the remaining nuts coarsely or pulse it for 2 short rounds in a blender
- Heat the milk in a cooking pot, add grated carrots and cook until the milk almost evaporates
- Add sugar, ghee & cardamom powder and mix well
- Stir in the chopped macadamias
- Garnish with roasted macadamias and serve hot!
